Life is Good

Life is Good was designed and created by brothers Bert and John Jacobs who designed Jake in July of 1994, the mascot for Life is Good, with the contagious grin and simple but effective message of optimism that seemed to express everything the Jacob brothers believe in. Today, the New England based brand stays close to its roots, with an emphasis on simplicity, humour and humility. Through Life is Good Festivals where all profits are raised for charity, positive products and a steady dose of ping pong, Jake's crew does its best to keep the good vibes flowing. Life is Good has graced the pages of the following magazines: Positive Impact, Body + Soul, The New York Times, Worthwhile and has been featured on The Big Idea with Donny Deustsch and NBC Today Show.  The life is good company began with $78, an old van, and the unshakable optimism of Jake.  Today they are using the power of optimism to help kids with life-threatening conditions.  Optimism can take you anywhere.

Puffin Gear

Puffin Gear began in 2007 when, sensing a void in the market and with the desire to dress her young children in contemporary styles without sacrificing function, Heather De Man began designing hats for children. Drawing from her parents' textile and design background, as well as her engineering skills, Heather made and wore her own pieces as she watched her company evolve from a stand at Toronto's St. Lawrence Market into the successful, innovative and contemporary Puffin Gear of today. Puffin Gear's name was inspired from the Atlantic Puffin’s loveable nature and its ability to boldly withstand exposure to harsh conditions with a unique flair. Featuring winter hats, mittens, scarves, and summer hats for children and adults.  Made in Heather’s downtown Leslieville studio in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Uglydoll

UGLYDOLL is a line of plush toys that began as a long distance love letter between the creators David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim. UGLYDOLL first launched in January 2001 and is distinguished by its definition of the word "ugly". In the "uglyverse", Ugly means unique and special...that we should be celebrating that which makes us different, never hiding the twists or turns which make us who we are, inside and out.

Uglydolls were awarded the Specialty Toy of the Year award by the Toy Industry Association in 2006
